DU SOL BA

DU SOL BA Program is an undergraduate distance education program that comes under the Campus of Open Learning scheme. This course is based on the UGCF 2022 semester system, wherein students have to study Major and Minor subjects along with certain mandatory courses like generic, ability enhancement, skills, and value-added courses. DU SOL offers a wide range of courses apart from the BA Programme. Students can choose from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in arts, commerce, management, and library science based on their career goals and academic interests. BA course fee at DU SOL includes tuition fees, university and college welfare fund charges, development fees, facility fees, and examination fees. The total fee may vary depending on the subjects chosen by the student. Courses that include practical subjects, such as Computer Applications or Psychology, may have slightly higher fees due to additional practical charges.

Admission to the DU SOL BA Programme is generally based on Class 12 marks. Students do not need to appear for CUET or any other entrance exam to apply for most BA courses offered through distance learning mode. DU SOL does not carry out any formal campus placement drives for BA Program students as the course is offered only through distance mode and hence, there is no campus-based group of candidates available to hire. The candidates normally rely on their Delhi University degree, along with placement fairs conducted by Delhi University CPC, and networking at various study centers to avail job opportunities.
