JEE Advanced Result Date 2026 (June 1)

JEE Advanced or the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. It is a national level entrance exam for admission in IITs and some other top engineering & science institutes of India. The exam is held annually by one of the seven IITs under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). These IITs are IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras and IIT Guwahati. JEE Advanced 2026 exam was conducted by IIT Roorkee. The examination was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 17th May, 2026. JEE Advanced comprises of two compulsory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper is of 3 hours duration. PwD candidates will be given 4 hours. The test comprises of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only the students who qualified JEE Main 2026 and were among the top 2,50,000 candidates were eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2026.

As per the official schedule released by IIT Roorkee, JEE Advanced result 2026 will be released on June 1, 2026 at 10:00 am IST. The JEE Advanced rank list 2026 will be declared on the same day with the result. The list of ranks is the basis for admission in IIT through JoSAA counselling 2026.

IIT Roorkee published the JEE Advanced 2026 answer key on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, on May 21, 2026, ahead of the final results. The response sheet can be downloaded by the candidates using their registered application number and password and compare their marked answers with the official solutions. The provisional answer key is likely to be out on May 25, 2026. Candidates disagreeing with any answer in the provisional key may raise objections from May 25 to May 26, 2026 (until 5:00 PM IST). After taking into account all valid objections, the final answer key along with the official result will be out on June 1, 2026.
