AILET 2026 exam will take place on December 14, 2025. National Law University Delhi has already published the official AILET 2026 Admit Card for all candidates online. Candidates need to take advantage of this opportunity and download their admit card as soon as possible, as admission to the actual exam will be prohibited unless candidates carry their admit card on the day of the exam. Candidates will be able to download the AILET 2026 Admit Card from the 14th of December until 1:30 PM. The download process is completed through the application portal by selecting "Download Admit Card" after logging in.

On August 7, 2025, NLU Delhi announced AILET 2026 through their website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The notification contains important information about the date of the exam, opening and closing dates for registration, eligibility requirements, fees to take the exam, where to take the exam, when you can take the exam, and how the entire application process works. NLU Delhi will conduct AILET 2026 on May 17, 2026, for admission to the University for both undergraduate (BA LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) programs. The examination serves as an assessment of your language skills, legal aptitude, reasoning ability, and current affairs knowledge. NLU Delhi has updated the AILET LLM structure to include both objective and descriptive components.

Note: Descriptive answers in Section B will be evaluated only for candidates shortlisted based on Section A scores.

NLU Delhi released the AILET 2026 admit card on November 26. Candidates who registered by the deadline will have access to their hall ticket. There is no other way to enter the exam hall except with this hall ticket and a valid form of photo identification to verify your identity in accordance with the official announcement. 4. Enter your Application Number and Password on the login page.

5. Click on Login.

6. View, download, and print your AILET admit card.

Note: It is advisable to print the admission ticket on a printer preferably in colour. If you have to use a black-and-white printer, make sure you can see the photo and test centre name clearly. Make sure you have some copies for reference purposes in the instance when you lose the original admission ticket.

AILET 2026 answer key will be published on the official website of NLU Delhi, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The answer keys will be published in two stages, which include provisional and final. The provisional answer keys for both the BA LLB and LLM courses will be published first, which will display the correct answers for each question. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer keys if they discover any errors in them. Once the university has examined all of the candidates' objections to the provisional answer keys, it will publish the final answer keys with all the revisions and confirmations of the answers.

AILET 2026 Merit List

AILET BA LLB (Hons)/LLM merit lists are released in stages. To access and download the merit lists, you need to do the following:

AILET counselling process is an online process, and only candidates who qualify through the entrance exam and obtain a rank will be required to register separately at http://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/(the AILET official website) for counselling.

The counselling is made up of 5 different components, i.e., registration, submission of documents, publication of the merit list, reporting to the assigned college, and payment of fees. A detailed counselling schedule listing all deadlines for registration, the release of the merit list, the reporting to college, and other important dates will be published later.

Merit lists will have names of all candidates with a ranking, and the candidates will be required to confirm their seat at their assigned college and complete the fee payment to secure that seat.

On its official website, NLU Delhi will publish the cut-off for AILET for both BA LLB & LLM courses. AILET cut-off indicates the minimum score that candidates need to achieve to qualify for admission to NLUs in New Delhi. AILET cutoff is usually released along with the seat-allocation process.
