CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Out, Check Download Link

The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially announced the CBSE 12th Result 2026 on its official website. Students can now access the CBSE Result 2026 Class 12 at results.cbse.nic.in using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID. The direct link to check the result has also been activated for easy access.

Apart from the official website, students can check the CBSE Board 12th Result 2026 through DigiLocker, SMS, UMANG App, and Parinam Sangam. More than 18 lakh students had appeared for the examination and were awaiting the declaration of their scores.

The CBSE Class 12 Exam 2026 was conducted from February 17 to April 10 across various examination centres nationwide. Students are advised to download their digital marksheet and scorecard for future admission and academic purposes.

More than 18 lakh students are currently waiting for the CBSE Class 12 result 2026, including nearly 10.2 lakh boys and 8.3 lakh girls who appeared for the board examinations this year. As per the latest updates, the CBSE Board Class 12 result is expected to be announced in the second week of May 2026 on the official result portals. With the result declaration date getting closer, anticipation among students and parents has increased across the country.

The CBSE Class 12 result 2026 download link will be active tentatively in the third week of May 2026. Earlier, the result of the Class 12 CBSE board was expected to be released on April 30, 2026. However, now the board will release the CBSE Board result 2026 download link on the aforementioned date.

The CBSE Board Class 12 result 2026 has been released online on three websites. Candidates can choose from three websites to download their CBSE result of Class 12.

The CBSE Class 12 result will be available in four different modes: official website, Digilocker, UMANG App, SMS and IVRS. Get the download steps of the result for CBSE Class 12 2026:

CBSE 12 Result via Website

• Visit the official CBSE results website, cbse.gov.in

• Look for the link titled “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” on the homepage

• Click on the link to open the login page of Class 12 of CBSE

• Enter your roll number exactly as mentioned on the admit card

• Enter your school number and Class 12 CBSE admit card ID carefully

• Click on the “Submit” button

• Your result will appear on the screen

• Verify all details mentioned in the result

• Download the CBSE Class 12th marksheet in PDF format

CBSE 12 Result via Digilocker

Candidates can also check the CBSE Class 12 result via Digilocker. The result download link for Class 12 CBSE will be available both on the website and app. Here are the steps to complete the download process. 

• Visit the cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in

• Select class 12 and click on the confirm button

• Click on the required details

• Verify it and move to the next step

• Enter your mobile number and click on the 'Submit' button.

• Verify the number

• Upon successful confirmation, your DigiLocker account is activated

• Click on 'Go to DigiLocker account' for CBSE Class 12 marksheet 2026 download.

CBSE 12 Result via UMANG APP

Candidates can also download the CBSE Class 12 result PDF via the UMANG App. Read below to get the download steps of the same:

Step 1 – Download & Install the Umang App from the Google Play Store

Step 2 – Open the app and register using your mobile number. An OTP will be sent to verify your number. Simply log in if you already have an account.

Step 3 – Now, scroll and search for CBSE Services and then choose the result from the drop-down menu

Step 4 – Select the "Result" Option and then choose the academic year

Step 5 –Enter your Roll Number as printed on your CBSE admit card along with your date of birth and click the submit button.

Step 6 – View & Download Your CBSE Class 12 Marksheet and save a copy on the computer.

CBSE 12 Result via SMS

Candidates facing any difficulty in downloading the CBSE 12th result 2026 via website can also use the SMS service. Here are the steps:

• Open the SMS application on your mobile phone.

• Type: cbse12 <RollNo> <SchoolNo> <CenterNo>.

• Send the message to the official number 7738299899.

• The CBSE result 2026 of class 12 will arrive as a text message.

CBSE 12 Result via IVRS

The CBSE Class 12 result is also available via IVRS. Candidates have to enter the prompt to know about their class marks.

• For Outside Delhi: Dial 011-24300699.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their CBSE Class 12 result 2026 will get the option to attempt the supplementary examination. Only students who have failed in one subject are eligible to sit for the supplementary examination. As per the CBSE Class 12 schedule, the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam will begin on July 15, 2026. The candidates can choose the subject they wish to reattempt. The Class 12 result of the CBSE supplementary exam will be declared in August 2026.
