LPU- Lovely Professional University Scholarship

Lovely Professional University awards scholarships to students based on their scores in the LPUNEST test. There are four types of scholarships available in LPU scholarships A, B, and C each based on different score bands in the LPUNEST exam. The higher the score that one secures, the higher will be the scholarship type awarded to him/her, thus providing larger fee concessions.

LPU RISE known as Recognising India's Scholarly Excellence. this scholarship is designed for students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements at the national, institutional or school level. Eligible students can receive up to 100% waiver of programme fees, along with hostel and/or transportation fee support, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in every academic year.

Important Note: The scholarship benefit previously available for university gold medalists and higher education institution (HEI) toppers has been discontinued. Under Category C, only school board toppers (after Class 10 and Class 12) are eligible for the scholarship.

LPU RISE Category A Scholarship – National Rank Holders

LPU RISE Category A is designed for students who achieve outstanding ranks or scores in national-level entrance examinations. Eligible students can receive a 100% programme fee waiver (including examination fees) along with 100% hostel fee support (4-seater non-AC room) or transportation fee support, depending on the rank secured in the qualifying examination. This category recognizes exceptional performance in highly competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, CLAT, GATE, SAT, GMAT, and GRE.

LPU RISE Category B Scholarship – Students Admitted to Premier Institutions

Category B rewards students who have already secured admission or seat allotment in India's most prestigious institutions and globally renowned universities. Under this category, eligible students can receive a 100% programme fee waiver, while certain institution groups also qualify for hostel or transportation fee support.

LPU RISE Category C Scholarship – School Board Toppers

Category C recognises students who have achieved top ranks in recognized school education boards across India. The scholarship is available to students who secure a position among the top 20 rank holders in a state, central, or open school board examination where more than 1,000 candidates appeared.

Students who meet the eligibility requirements under LPU RISE Categories A, B, or C can apply for the scholarship either during the admission process or after securing admission to Lovely Professional University. To ensure timely consideration, applicants must complete the application process before the last date of admission announced by the university.
