Admission in RIT Roorkee is based on the course and its eligibility criteria. Admission in some courses can also be based on performance in entrance exams as well as merit in the qualifying examination depending on the program offered by the institution. Students seeking admission in B.Tech programs will have to submit their JEE Main scores if required for their program. Scores of GATE can be taken into consideration in case of M.Tech programs. Students seeking admission in MBA programs can apply via CAT and MAT entrances.
There are individual hostel facilities provided by RIT Roorkee with AC and Non-AC room availability for both boys and girls. The hostels have facilities like Wi-Fi, beds, almirah, study table, chair, laundry facility, gymnasium, recreation room, and individual canteen facility.
