CUET PG Analysis 2026, Good Attempts, Difficulty Level, Cut Off Marks

CUET PG 2026 exam is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 27 March 2026. CUET PG Day 1 Exam Analysis 2026

Yoga

According to the initial reactions of candidates, the CUET PG Yoga question paper on Day 1 was reported to be moderate to easy in difficulty level. Most of the questions were based on basic concepts of yoga, making the paper manageable for students who had a clear understanding of the fundamentals. Several questions were asked from important topics such as Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga texts like Gheranda Samhita and Hatha Pradipika, and Human Anatomy and Physiology related to yoga practice. Candidates who had prepared these core areas found the paper relatively simple.

Sanskrit

CUET PG Sanskrit question paper included topics from Vedic Literature, Sanskrit Grammar (Vyakarana), and Indian Philosophy (Darshana). A major part of the paper focused on Sahitya Shastra, where candidates had to identify Alankaras (poetic devices) and Chandas (meters) used in classical Sanskrit texts. Several questions were based on Shlokas, requiring students to read and understand the verses. There were also match-the-following questions related to Sanskrit authors and their commentaries.

According to the initial reactions from candidates, the overall difficulty level of the CUET PG Sanskrit paper was moderate. Many questions tested knowledge of grammar, classical literature, and conceptual understanding. Candidates also mentioned that having a strong command of Paninian grammar and the historical development of Sanskrit literature was very helpful, as these areas formed a significant portion of the exam.
