CUET PG 2026 Preparation

CUET PG 2026 preparation process should begin at least one year before you take your exam. Final-year students are encouraged to investigate first the exam structure and determine their strengths and weaknesses before moving on to regular practice and mock testing.

Familiarise with the exam: Start by familiarising yourself with the overall structure of the exam such as the time frame, types of questions therefore, and the markings.

Choose subjects carefully: Candidates can select a maximum of Four (4) Subject Test papers according to NTA rules. Therefore, you need to plan your preparation around the subjects you select.

Review the syllabus: Go through the official syllabus released by the NTA for each of the subjects, as they are based upon the undergraduate curriculum.

Use the proper study material: University level textbooks usually cover the majority of the material you will need, but competing with CUET PG, there are additional resources such as subject notes, and CUET PG guidebooks available for practice.

Practise Previous year question papers: Working through past CUET PG question papers allows you to not only be familiar with the important subject matter but also understand trends in the types of questions being asked.

Take mock tests: Regularly sitting mock tests under exam conditions improves test-taking strategy, accuracy, and time management. Therefore, it is essential that you assess your performance in your mock test to improve your scores.
