MAT 2026 September session is scheduled to be held on September 13 for PBT and September 20 for CBT. The application process is ongoing and the candidate may opt for any of the two modes or both of them. The fees shall differ according to the number of test sessions applied. Also, there shall be an additional MAT PBT test session on September 6, 2026, due to the extension in the admission schedule for the current year. MAT 2026 PBT and CBT exams will be conducted on separate dates for the September session. The exam will be held in a single morning shift from 10 AM to 12 PM, with no break during the test. Candidates will have 120 minutes to attempt 150 questions across five sections, with 30 questions in each section. However, answering all the questions is not mandatory, and candidates can manage their time according to their strengths and strategy.

AIMA does not declare any date in advance for declaring the MAT 2026 result. The MAT 2026 scorecard is released generally after two weeks of the exam session held by AIMA. Candidates are informed through their email address about the release of the scorecard, and the MAT 2026 result is downloaded from the official website of MAT with the login credentials of the candidate. The scorecards of CBT and PBT sessions are released together and the process for downloading is similar for all the candidates.

AIMA releases the MAT 2026 marks of the applicants in the five B-schools chosen during the application process.
