Overview

MAT registration 2026 is now available for the September exam. Candidates can complete the MAT application form online through the AIMA MAT website by paying the prescribed fee before the deadline. AIMA will conduct a special MAT PBT exam on September 6, 2026, for candidates wishing to get admission in the respective management institutes. The process is going on, and applications can be made till September 1, 2026. The deadline for MAT PBT application is September 7, whereas the deadline for MAT CBT application is September 14, 2026.

MAT Application Process 2026: How to Apply?

MAT exam is conducted multiple times a year, typically in February, May, September and December. The procedure of MAT registration is similar for all sessions. For candidates with an existing MAT login ID, it is possible to register for various exam sessions using the same credentials. Use the instructions given below to fill up the MAT application form 2026.

  • Visit the official AIMA MAT website and click on the Register option.
  • Enter your name, mobile number, email ID, state/city and create a password. Review the details and click Submit.
  • An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
  • Enter the OTP to verify your mobile number and complete the registration.
  • Log in using the credentials sent to your registered email ID.
  • Fill in the required personal, academic and address details in the application form.
  • Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Select up to five MBA colleges from the available list. Candidates choosing more than five institutes may have to pay an additional fee.
  • Pay the MAT application fee of INR 2,300 using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
  • Review all the details entered in the application form and make corrections, if required.
  • Accept the declaration by selecting the declaration checkbox and submit the application form.
  • Save and download the MAT application confirmation page for future reference.

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
