

GLA University Mathura is an institute in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It became a full-fledged university in the year 2010 as per the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature. It was founded on the premise of the GLA Group of Institutions that started in the late 1990s. Being accredited by the UGC, the university is also accredited with an A+ grade by the NAAC. MAT 2026: The September session examination, which is mainly for admitting MBA candidates, was conducted. The exam results declaration is also expected to be announced by the September last week 2026.
CAT 2026: The registration period for CAT 2026 admissions to the MBA/PGDM programme has come to an end. Admit cards of the candidates will become available from November 4, 2026.
GPAT 2027: The GPAT 2027 registrations for MPharma will possibly start in December 2026.
GLA University Mathura is located in Chaumuhan, which is about 17km away from Mathura city. The university is spread across 110 acres along the Delhi-Agra Road (NH 19) and offers around 86 courses to over 24,000 students. GLA University admission is done based on certain eligibility and selection criteria. Selection of the student for a particular programme depends upon their academic performance and scores in entrance exams. The university conducts the GLAET for admission to most courses. Separate admission procedures for general and Foreign/NRI category students are being followed by the university. GLA University Mathura offers students the option of online and offline enrolment for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Each department has its own GLA University Mathura admission process besides the main university entrance exams. GLA University Mathura scholarship is for students on a merit and entrance exam results basis. A very well-performing student may be given a scholarship and will be able to pay a much lower tuition fee. Also, high-performing Class 12 and JEE Main candidates are also eligible for scholarships. GLA University Mathura is located on a 110-acre campus in Chaumuhan, which is about 17 km from Mathura city, on the Mathura-Delhi highway (NH-19/NH-2). The university can be reached conveniently by air, rail and road. The closest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), Delhi, which is located at a distance of 180 km, from where tourists can take taxis to reach the university campus. Mathura Junction Railway Station is located at a distance of 18 km from GLA University and has great railway connectivity with many other cities in the country. Trains running from Delhi towards Central and Southern India also stop at Mathura Junction, from where taxis and autos are easily available. By road, Mathura is well connected to various cities of Uttar Pradesh and North India through State and National highways. UPSRTC runs buses to places like Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Delhi, and Jaipur, including luxurious coach service. GLA University Mathura examination depends upon the program and is largely based on the semester system of examination. About 94% of programs at GLA University have the semester system of examination, 3% of the programs have an annual system of examination, and 3% have a trimester system of examination.
