The last admissions cycle for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu had almost 14,000 applicants for approximately 120 seats. Because of such stiff competition, only 1 in 117 applicants managed to gain acceptance into either IIM. As a result, a systematic and comprehensive preparation strategy is important for JIPMAT 2026.
To improve your chances of success at JIPMAT, follow these tips:
Make sure you are very familiar with the exam's syllabus and pattern.
Before starting your preparation, evaluate yourself on your strengths and weaknesses.
Concentrate on only one section at a time to become a master of each section.
Carefully schedule short, focused breaks (e.g., read books or watch interviews of toppers) to ensure maximum efficiency during study sessions.
Work on the VARC section last because most students have found that to be the easiest section to pass.
For Quant, develop a training plan that includes compiling a list of the most important formulas you will need to remember, regularly reviewing them and studying sample questions in preparation for the exam.
To determine the level of difficulty of questions from previous JIPMAT tests and build your speed on the JIPMAT exam, practice answering them by using mock exams.
Finally, to improve your time management skills during the exam, try to find a way to complete each question in less than one minute during each practice session.
The NTA will release the JIPMAT 2026 exam admit card before the examination date for all registered candidates. The admit card is important, as it will allow examiners to identify candidates at the time of the exam. Therefore, candidates should ensure that they have printed copies of their JIPMAT admit card with them and a valid photo ID when they arrive at the testing center.
Candidates can access their JIPMAT admit card by visiting the official website of JIPMAT. The download procedure requires entering the candidate's application number and birth date.
In two stages, the NTA releases the JIPMAT 2026 Answer Key. A provisional answer key will be published within one week of the examination, which allows Candidates to raise objections regarding any discrepancies they may have identified. After reviewing all objections and necessary changes, the subject experts at NTA create a final answer key.
Candidates will have access to the Provisional Answer Key via the candidate login portal, while a copy of the Final Answer Key will be available to download from the official NTA website as a PDF file. All results of the examination will be calculated from the final answer key.
Within one week of the exam, JIPMAT question paper will be published by NTA (National Testing Agency). These question papers help candidates to check their answers and assess what kinds of questions were asked in the exam. It also assists future candidates in understanding the nature of the examination by providing them with information on the proficiency of the question paper, question patterns, major subject area topics, etc.
Additionally, using last year's JIPMAT question papers as practice for preparing for future JIPMAT exams will assist candidates in becoming more familiar with how the examination process works. Understanding the trends will help candidates improve their ability to answer questions accurately on the new JIPMAT exam.
