SNAP Exam Pattern 2026: Check Section wise Latest Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme

SNAP 2026 exam pattern has been revised with the addition of a new section on Ethics, Morality and Values. The exam will continue to have 60 questions to be attempted in 60 minutes, but the question distribution across sections has changed. The new section will carry 10 marks, while the number of questions in English and Analytical & Logical Reasoning has been reduced. Candidates can appear for SNAP exam up to three times, with the best score considered for admission to participating MBA programmes.

SNAP 2026 is an online test comprising 60 questions in total which are to be solved in 60 minutes. There are four sections in the SNAP test: General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Ethics, Morality and Values. Each question is awarded one mark with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer. Candidates are allowed to take SNAP thrice and the highest score can be considered for admission.

The SNAP 2026 test paper will contain four different sections, which include General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Ethics, Morality and Values. The test will contain 60 questions of 60 marks, where one mark will be awarded for each correct answer. However, candidates must take care that wrong answers have negative marks, and hence it is imperative to choose the questions wisely.

SNAP 2026: Sectional Time Limit

There is no specific time allotted for each section of SNAP 2026 individually. It becomes the responsibility of the candidate to cover the whole question paper in the given total exam time of 60 minutes.

SNAP exam is usually of moderate difficulty level, but the time factor plays a significant role. The time duration for the test is one hour, and therefore, timing is an important aspect. One does not have to answer all the questions; he/she needs to focus on the questions that can be solved within less time.

SNAP syllabus 2026 includes important topics from all four sections of the exam. Ethics, Morality and Values is a new section added this year, so its exact syllabus is not clearly available yet. Candidates can prepare topics related to workplace ethics, business practices, employee rights and social responsibility to build a strong base for this section.
