SNAP 2026 Syllabus: Section Wise Important Topics for QA, LR & English

SNAP syllabus 2026 exam covers General English, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Analytical Reasoning & Logical Reasoning. A new topic called Ethics, Morality & Values has been included in this year's SNAP syllabus. It comprises topics like Sustainability, CSR, DEI, Data Privacy & Work Ethics. SNAP exam syllabus is similar to that of other MBA entrance exams. While preparing for SNAP 2026 entrance test, one must pay more emphasis to areas from where the questions tend to be asked. SNAP does not contain RC (Reading Comprehension) questions; hence, one must concentrate more on Grammar and Vocabulary for English. Arithmetic is one of the significant areas in Quantitative Ability. The SNAP QA, DI-DS section comprises of 20 questions. It is advisable that the candidate is aware of the basic fundamentals and revise the important formulas and theorems so that he/she scores well in this section. The SNAP QA, DI-DS syllabus consists of the following topics:

A-LR is the section in SNAP 2026 that is expected to feature the highest number of questions in all the sections of the examination. It is expected to remain moderately difficult, although candidates might feel pressurized when answering the questions. Candidates should regularly practice the section to be able to perform well. Questions related to Grammar and Verbal Ability will be part of the General English segment of the SNAP 2026 exam. Unlike other MBA entrance tests, the SNAP test does not have reading comprehension (RC) passages. Candidates are advised to study the following subjects from the SNAP syllabus to perform well in this segment:

Some important points of the SNAP 2026 test pattern are:

• Candidates can appear for one, two or three SNAP sessions
• The best score from all attempts will be considered for PI shortlisting
• Each SNAP session will have a different question paper
• The difficulty level may vary across different exam sessions
• The SNAP 2026 question paper will have 60 questions
• The exam will be conducted for a total of 60 marks
• SNAP 2026 will not have TITA (Type in the Answer) questions
• All questions will be MCQ-based, with 1 mark for each correct answer
• There will be a 25% negative marking for every incorrect answer

The SNAP 2026 exam paper will comprise four sections, one of which is the newly added section of Ethics, Morality and Values. The new section will consist of 10 questions, whereas the rest of the questions will be divided into sections such as General English, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

The first stage of SNAP preparation would be to study the syllabus and get aware of important topics of each section. After covering the syllabus, the aspirants can then concentrate on practicing mock tests and previous year SNAP question papers. Those students who had appeared for SNAP exam or any other MBA entrance exam in the past can begin their SNAP preparation by solving a mock test. Here are some helpful tips for SNAP 2026 preparation.

• Give More Time to Important SNAP Topics: Try solving previous year SNAP question papers and get to know about the important topics. Spend more time on those topics that hold more weight in the SNAP exam.
  
• Learn and Revise Quantitative Formulas & Theorems: Study and revise important quantitative formulas and theorems for the Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation section. Speedy calculations are very essential as it is a 60-minute SNAP test.
  
• Enhance Your English Basics: Work hard to increase your vocabulary and revise important grammar rules. Since SNAP doesn’t contain the reading comprehension section, one needs to focus on important topics like synonyms, antonyms, meanings, sentence correction etc.
  
• Practice A-LR Questions: Solve various Analytical and Logical Reasoning questions every day. Being a section with many questions, you should practice it to improve speed and accuracy.
  
• Solve SNAP Mock Tests: You must try solving at least 20-30 SNAP mock tests during your preparation phase. Make sure that you analyze your performance after each mock test and revise the topics where you commit mistakes.
  
• Know Section-wise Weightage: It is necessary to analyze previous year SNAP question papers to get to know the question weightage in each section. Besides, remember that SNAP exam contains negative marking too.
