CUET Marks refer to the marks scored by a candidate in the exam based on the number of correct and incorrect answers provided by them. CUET Percentile tells us about the performance of a candidate in relation to other candidates who appeared for the same exam.
| Parameter | CUET Marks | CUET Percentile |
| Meaning | Actual score obtained in the exam | Performance relative to other candidates |
| Based On | Correct and incorrect answers | Comparison with all test-takers |

CUET UG 2026 cutoff will be declared by universities who take part in the CUET 2026 exams. Universities like DU, BHU, JNU, and others may declare relatively high cut-offs for popular courses offered at the undergraduate level. Different scores will be needed for admission based on the course, category, and university. Factors that will affect the cut-off may include the number of applications, availability of seats, reservation policy, and difficulty level of the exam.

After the objection window closes, NTA forwards all submitted challenges to a panel of subject experts. These experts carefully review each objection along with the supporting documents submitted by candidates.
If a challenge is found valid:
The answer key is revised accordingly.
The corrected answer is included in the final answer key.
All candidates benefit from the revised answer.
If the objection is not accepted, the previously published answer remains unchanged.
The decision taken by NTA after expert review is considered final.
After reviewing all objections, NTA releases the CUET UG Final Answer Key 2026. This version contains the final corrected answers after expert evaluation.
The final answer key is extremely important because:
The CUET UG result is prepared based on it.
No further objections are accepted.
It determines the final scores and percentile.
Candidates should note that the final answer key may differ slightly from the provisional version if objections are accepted.
