National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed the JEE Main 2026 exam, with Session 2 conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The JEE Main 2026 counselling process has also progressed, with JoSAA 2026 counselling concluding in July. The CSAB Special Counselling 2026 is currently underway for vacant seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, with the process scheduled from July 22 to August 18, 2026. The CSAB Special Round 2 seat allotment result was released on August 12, 2026.

NTA has published the provisional JEE Main Answer Key 2026 and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 session 2 on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to log in using their application number and password to check and download these documents. The answer key provides correct answers for all exam questions. The challenge facility is currently active and will close on April 13. As the response sheet will be available only for a short duration, candidates should download it immediately for future reference.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) provides counseling for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs on the basis of ranks obtained in the JEE Main and JEE Advanced. In 2026, the JoSAA counseling has been completed, and now the admission procedure has shifted to CSAB Special Counseling 2026:
National Testing Agency (NTA) has closed the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration process. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria could submit the JEE Main application form 2026 within the prescribed deadline. During registration, candidates were required to upload a live photograph, scanned passport-size photograph and signature. OBC-NCL, EWS, SC and ST candidates had to provide certificate details, while PwD/PwBD candidates were required to upload their relevant certificates.
The JEE Main 2026 Information Bulletin is available on the official website and contains details about the exam pattern, syllabus, eligibility criteria, application process and other important instructions.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has closed the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form correction facility. The correction window was available for candidates who applied as fresh candidates for Session 2, as well as those who appeared for Session 1 and registered for Session 2.
Candidates were advised to review their details carefully and make the required changes within the correction period. Where applicable, candidates also had to pay the additional correction fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
JEE Main Exam Date 2026 for Session 2 has been scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The examination will be conducted over multiple days in different shifts, allowing candidates across the country to appear smoothly. Applicants are advised to check their admit cards carefully for the exact exam date and shift timing allotted to them.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 for Session 2 is expected to be released three days before the exam date. Since the Session 2 examination is scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026, the admit card is tentatively likely to be available from March 30, 2026 onwards. Candidates will be able to download it online using their login credentials. It is mandatory to carry the JEE Main 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre on the exam day.
JEE Main Result 2026 for Session 2 is expected to be announced on April 20, 2026 (tentative). The result will be released online by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and candidates can check their scorecard by logging in with their application number and date of birth. The scorecard will include subject-wise percentile, total percentile, and All India Rank (AIR). Students are advised to download and keep a copy of the result for counselling and admission purposes.
