Increasing Number of Female 100 Percentilers in JEE Main

The agency released the NTA JEE Main Result 2026 for Session 2 on its official website. As per earlier updates, the IIT JEE Main scorecard 2026 PDF is available only on the official website, although no specific release time was announced by the authorities. Along with the result, the agency has also released the JEE Main 2026 final answer key for Session 2.
JEE Main 2026 Question Papers & Answer Key LIVE: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main Session 2 question papers today, April 9, for all shifts. The provisional answer key and students’ response sheets will be released on April 11. The Paper 1 result is expected by April 20, 2026, on jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, these dates are tentative, so there may be slight changes.
NTA also stated that around 11.23 lakh candidates appeared for the Session 2 exams held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

The agency has been released the IIT JEE Main result 2026 on its official website. As per last year's statistics, 2,50,236 out of 14.75 Lakh qualified for JEE Advanced for IIT Admissions. In addition to this, 97,321 candidates have been selected from UR, 67,614 from OBC, 25,009 from EWS-ALL; 3,950 from UR-PWD, 37,519 from SC-ALL, and 18,823 from ST-ALL.

JEE Main 2026 session 1 toppers list released online along with the result. It will consist of the candidate’s name, marks scored in the examination, and their AIR as well. The candidates whose IIT JEE Main rank comes within top 200 qualify for IIT JEE Advanced examination.

| JEE Main 2026 Result Notice |
JEE Main result released on the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The candidates have to use the JEE Mains result link to download the result. The result will not be available anywhere else.

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main, jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Now, find and click on the JEE Main Result 2026 for session 1
Step 3: Next, enter your application number and password, followed by the captcha code
Step 4: Now, submit it and go through the IIT JEE Main scorecard 2026 to know about the marks scored in the examination.
Step 5: Save a copy of the JEE Mains Feb result PDF on the device for future reference.
Candidates will get three options after the JEE Main Result 2026 is released online. They can either register for IIT JEE Main Session 2 2026, appear for the JEE Advanced exam, or apply for admission to either of the colleges underthe JEE Main exam.
The first option is for candidates who do not get their desired rank in the first session of the JEE Main 2026 exam.
Candidates who get a high rank in the JEE Main Result can apply and appear for the JEE Advanced examination
While, the candidates can also apply for JEE Main counselling 2026 to NITs, IIITs and other engineering colleges who accept IIT JEE Main scorecard.
