IIM CAT 2026 Notification: IIM Indore has announced CAT 2026 notification with all the relevant information regarding the exam. The CAT 2026 exam will take place on November 29, 2026, in three shifts. The information related to the exam date, IIM conducting the exam, exam dates, duration, test centers, and many other things is included in the notification. CAT 2026 will be conducted by IIM Indore on November 29, 2026. The CAT 2026 application fee is INR 2,700 for General, EWS, and NC-OBC category aspirants, and for SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the application fee is INR 1,350. CAT 2026 application process will continue till September 15, 2026.

CAT score is used for admission into different postgraduate, doctoral, and other management courses provided by the IIMs. But the courses that use the CAT score can be different for different IIMs. Candidates must refer to the admission notice issued by the particular IIM for the course-wise eligibility criteria.

Note: CAT scores can be considered for programs other than the premier PGP / MBA program offered by the institution. This is decided individually by each IIM. Candidates must check the admission notice published by the relevant IIM before submitting their application forms.

CAT 2026 exam schedule includes important dates such as registration date, admit card date, examination date, and result date. It is essential for candidates to note down these important dates to complete all the stages of CAT 2026 process timely. Below is the complete CAT 2026 exam dates:

Students who wish to take CAT 2026 exam must fulfill all the eligibility requirements specified by the examination authority. The major areas covered under the conditions include educational qualifications, minimum marks, and age limits. Students are eligible to appear for the exam after obtaining their bachelor’s degree, along with other categories of candidates.

Candidate should meet the required minimum marks for admission into the CAT 2026. The minimum percentage required for graduation/professional qualifications in each category is listed below:

CAT 2026 registration is now open on the official website of IIM CAT, IIM Indore. Candidates will have to register themselves and submit their application form within the stipulated application period. CAT 2026 application process consists of registration, providing personal and educational information, choice of test centers and IIMs programs, upload of required documents, and payment of application fee. Check below steps to fill CAT 2026 application form are:

• Visit the official CAT website and click on New Registration.
• Enter your name, nationality, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth.
• Verify your registration using the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
• Log in using the generated User ID and Password.
• Enter your personal and academic details.
• Select your preferred test cities and IIM programmes.
• Upload your photograph, signature, and applicable category or other certificates.
• Pay the CAT application fee using the available online payment options.
  

CAT test centres are allocated depending on the test city preference chosen by the candidate and his address from CAT application form. CAT is held in different test centres of cities in India. The examination is organised by TCS on behalf of IIMs. Check below how is CAT exam centre alloted:

• Candidates should choose five test centers in CAT application form based on their preference order.
  
• While choosing the test center for the candidates, the exam conducting body takes into account the preferred test cities of the candidates as well as other address details of the candidate.
  
• Allotment of test center also depends upon the availability of seats in the preferred test centers.
  
• Candidates are advised to apply for the examination during the allotted time frame.
