CAT 2026 admit card will include all important exam-day instructions that candidates must follow at the test centre and during the exam. Below are the important guidelines:

• Carry two printed copies of the CAT 2026 admit card along with an original and photocopy of a valid photo ID.

• Only the admit card and photo ID are allowed inside the exam hall.

• Reach the exam centre according to the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

• Use the Reference Number on the admit card to identify the correct door/wing/lab at the test venue.

• Do not sign the admit card beforehand. It must be signed inside the exam hall in the presence of the invigilator.

• Affix a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the CAT application form) on both copies of the admit card.

• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, iPads, and similar gadgets are not allowed.

• Avoid carrying bags or luggage, as there is no facility for storage at the exam centre.

• Jackets, hoodies, coats, cardigans with pockets, caps, and headgear are not allowed.

• Metal jewellery, clothing with pockets, jackets, and footwear are prohibited in the exam room.

• Candidates with metal implants or pacemakers must bring a valid medical certificate.

• A writing pad and pen will be provided for rough work and must be submitted before exiting the hall.

• Write your name and registration number on the writing pad as instructed.

• Leave the invigilator’s copy of the CAT 2026 admit card in the exam hall after completion of the test.
